FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What does Agrarian Aerospace do?
We are a drone manufacturer based in Amritsar, Punjab, and Punjab's first DGCA drone manufacturing applicant. Our flagship is the AGRARIAN V2 agricultural hexacopter. We also build defence and industrial UAV solutions, provide drone pilot training and maintenance courses at our Phagwara training site, and offer drone rental and repair services.
What is the AGRARIAN V2?
A battery-operated, DGCA-compliant medium-class hexacopter RPAS for agricultural spraying — 10 L / KG payload, 4–5 m spray swath, up to 25 minutes flight per charge, with Return-to-Home, auto-flight modes, terrain RADAR, and GPS precision.
Do you provide drone pilot training and maintenance courses?
Yes. We offer drone pilot training, drone maintenance courses, and an operator course for AGRARIAN V2 buyers at our Phagwara training site. Our pilot training covers DGCA ground-school theory, simulator and supervised field flying, and support through the Remote Pilot Certification process. Contact us for the next batch.
Can small farmers afford to buy a drone?
Yes. The AGRARIAN V2 is built to be practical for small and medium farmers, not just large agri-businesses. A single drone sprays acres in minutes, cutting labour, water, and chemical costs — so it pays for itself over a few seasons. It can also be shared across a group of farmers or run as a paid spraying service for nearby fields, turning the drone into an income source. We also help with financing guidance and operator training so you can start earning from it quickly.
Are there government subsidies available on agricultural drones?
Yes. Agricultural drones are supported under various central and state government schemes aimed at promoting farm mechanisation and precision agriculture, and subsidy assistance may be available to eligible farmers, farmer groups, and agencies. Scheme names, eligibility, and the level of assistance change from time to time and vary by category of applicant and state. We can guide you on the schemes that may currently apply to you and help with the documentation — contact us to know more.
Do I need a license to fly a drone in India?
Under the Drone Rules, 2021, a Remote Pilot Certificate is required to operate most drones commercially, including agricultural spraying drones like the V2. Nano drones under 250 g have relaxed requirements. Our pilot training prepares you for DGCA certification. Always verify current rules on the Digital Sky portal.
Where are you based?
Our company is based in Amritsar, Punjab, and our drone pilot training site is in Phagwara, Punjab. Reach us through the contact details below for V2 enquiries, demos, defence/industrial UAV discussions, or to register interest in training.
